Respect for everything, fear for nothing. The WG 116 G is a gravel bike suitable for any terrain, a combination of simplicity and elegance suited to satisfy every adventurous spirit who chooses it.

Equipped with a Shimano 105 groupset, supported by a single front chainring, and 160mm hydraulic disc brakes, the WG 116 G is designed to support great distances while providing safety and rideability.

The ACR type aluminum frame, with integrated cable routing, represents the right balance between aesthetic cleanliness and performance, also supported by a carbon fork.

The WG 116 G SARAWAK TIGER transports us directly to the island of Borneo , the scene of legendary adventures and unforgettable duels between the masters of the seas and the princes of the black jungle.

For the loom's coloring, we took inspiration from Batik , a traditional textile decoration technique originating in the Java region and spread, through centuries of tradition, to the major states of equatorial Southeast Asia. Characterized by complex geometric and floral patterns, this technique expresses specific meanings and stories through the choice of colors and shapes. Etymologically, it could be translated as "writing with dots," meaning constructing a graphic narrative through the construction of a fabric made of knots of string.

We chose a predominance of warm colors —orange, red, and yellow—which, according to traditional symbolism, in addition to recalling the colors of the Sarawak flag, express vital energy and ties to the land , courage, and prosperity. The rhombus, the main geometric motif of Sarawak tradition, combined with the typical floral themes of peninsular batik, symbolizes the perfect balance between man and the environment .

It is certainly no coincidence, therefore, that the meanings of this colour are associated with the ancient Dayak population, skilled hunters, metal workers and profound connoisseurs of the territories of Borneo.

It all culminates at the head tube, where the TROVADOR logo is protected by two crossed Kris. The Kris , a Malay dagger with a wavy blade, is a symbol of identity and sovereignty passed down through the generations, defended by ancient families as a talisman protecting the hearth. Forged from precious metals and characterized by irregular and asymmetrical shapes, the Kris is the ultimate representation of the courage and honor of the Malay warrior, whose devotion is to his own honor and the protection of his loved ones.

Honor, courage, and nobility are also reflected on the front fork and rear triangle, where the bright batik gives way to the white fur with black stripes typical of the Bengal tiger , the undisputed princess of the jungle, which ideally completes our picture of art and adventure, uniqueness and audacity.
