Sporty spirit, winning character, rebellious personality. The GR 116 T was built to stand out wherever it goes, thanks to a design that combines elegance and simplicity.
The aluminum frame offers the right balance between lightness and rigidity, while the dual front chainring transmission system ensures wide versatility of use, from the most complex urban contexts to the most demanding extra-urban distances. The long handlebar guarantees the rider ideal comfort and maneuverability in every riding situation.
The Twang Jet livery gives the GR 116 T the energy and exuberance of the unique 1950s, celebrating the union of cycling, music, and movement in an unprecedented way.
On the horizontal tube of the frame, starting from the junction with the seat tube and therefore from the cyclist themselves, you can see a trail of colored vinyl records: in our vision, it is the cyclist's energy that produces this unique sound fuel, which spreads rapidly across the body of the bike.
The vinyl records flow into the jukebox represented on the head tube: like high-octane gasoline, they fuel the engine of music and imagination par excellence. How many nighttime adventures, how many duels on the asphalt, and how many moments of freedom started from the jukeboxes in the drive-ins of the 1950s!
Finally, we liked the idea that the Jukebox/engine evoked the powerful imagery of the hot rod cars of those years: two fiery turbines, placed on the sloping tube, generating the firepower to be transmitted to the bottom bracket, infusing the entire bicycle with that kinetic but also musical force that only those who feel ready for the GR116T - Twang Jet can think of unleashing!
