Characterized by complex geometric and floral patterns, this technique expresses specific meanings and stories through the choice of colors and shapes. Etymologically, it could be translated as \"writing with dots,\" meaning constructing a graphic narrative through the construction of a fabric made of knots of string.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e We chose a predominance of \u003cstrong\u003ewarm colors\u003c\/strong\u003e —orange, red, and yellow—which, according to traditional symbolism, in addition to recalling the colors of the Sarawak flag, express \u003cstrong\u003evital energy and ties to the land\u003c\/strong\u003e , courage, and prosperity. The rhombus, the main geometric motif of Sarawak tradition, combined with the typical floral themes of peninsular batik, symbolizes the perfect \u003cstrong\u003ebalance between man and the environment\u003c\/strong\u003e .\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e It is certainly no coincidence, therefore, that the meanings of this colour are associated with the ancient \u003cstrong\u003eDayak\u003c\/strong\u003e population, skilled hunters, metal workers and profound connoisseurs of the territories of Borneo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e It all culminates at the head tube, where the TROVADOR logo is protected by two crossed Kris. The \u003cstrong\u003eKris\u003c\/strong\u003e , a Malay dagger with a wavy blade, is a symbol of identity and sovereignty passed down through the generations, defended by ancient families as a talisman protecting the hearth.
